This month for Wednesdays @ 1, join us to learn about the resources that State Records have to offer family history researchers.
State Records is the archival collection for permanent value state and local government records in South Australia. With one of the largest archival collections in the country, the records can be of great interest for genealogical and family history researchers.
This session will introduce you to what types of records are in the collection, as well as some of the ‘family history favourites’ that are most popular with our researchers. We’ll then showcase some of these as we go through records we’ve found in relation to several generations of a family who immigrated to South Australia back in 1855 – the Pitkin family.
Please note, this session will be recorded, and all registrants will recieve a link to the recording after the event.
Registrations close Wednesday 3 April, 9:00 am
