As part of our Wednesdays @ 1 series, Genealogy SA will be venturing beyond the borders and hosting Chris Schuetz from the Queensland Family History Society.
Join presenter Chris Schuetz as he introduces the Queensland Family History Society’s services and databases: ‘About 120 years ago some of my family wandered up the Birdsville Track to move to a cattle station in Queensland. Maybe some of your family came this way too and you are interested in researching them? Queensland Family History Society has some really useful databases in their Members Only part of their website with millions of records that could help you.’
Inspired by stories from his grandmother, Chris has been researching his ancestors’ social history with the help of whatever Family History Society was nearby since he left school. Within the Queensland Family History Society, Chris is particularly interested in supporting the work of the Society's Special interest Groups and providing services to distant members.
Registrations close Wednesday June 7, 9:00 am
Zoom registrants will receive a link to the event approximately 1 hour before the event starts and all registrants will receive a link to the recording.
